Rhythm music & arts center

Mission:

The mission of Rhythm Music & Arts Center is to provide the highest caliber of

artistic education to families that have gifted musicians, dancers, artist and actors

from Etowah County, Alabama so they may achieve their fullest potential as

artists, leaders, and global citizens. The mission of Rhythm Music & Arts Center

and Mental Music Therapy is to provide mental therapy for students and adults

affected by the stress due to COVID-19. Our mission is to promote a solution to

the behavior of students that have been quarantined due of this pandemic. Our

mission is to give students an outlet to music that will divert their behavior from

crime, disobedience and educational deterioration.

The mission of Rhythm Music and Arts Mental Therapy program is to be the

solution to the youth of metro Etowah County Alabama that have been affected

in many ways by Covid-19. RMAC is dedicated to promoting a relief from the

stress students have faced due also to school shootings, gang violence, low social

skill, bullying and drug use due to peer pressure.

To achieve this mission, Rhythm Music & Arts Center has identified six goals:

• R.M.A.C will identify and attract the most talented young performing artists from around

the metro Atlanta area and will strive to ensure that financial considerations are not a

deterrent to their enrollment.

• R.M.A.C will provide an educational environment that fosters the artistic, intellectual,

and personal growth of its students and prepares them to embark on successful careers

and productive lives as artists and citizens, as well as to become leaders in their

professions.

• R.M.A.C will continue to elevate its educational and artistic standards, remaining

responsive to changing conditions in the worldwide performing arts community.

• R.M.A.C will continue to attract and retain renowned faculty members in all disciplines,

by providing a collaborative work environment and involving them fully in the artistic

and educational life of the community.

• R.M.A.C will uphold its commitment to the diversity of its community by fostering an

environment that is inclusive, supportive, and welcoming to all.

• R.M.A.C will take an active role in shaping the future of the performing arts by providing

exemplary arts education programs to the community and encouraging its students to

serve as advocates for the arts in society.
